What you need to do Rince the mussels in tap water. Throw out all mussels that are already open. Add wine, garlic, shallots, parsley and salt in a large pot. Cover and bring to a boil. Add mussels and cover again for 5-10 minutes, or until mussels have opened. Transfer mussels to a bowl, add liquid on top and lemon juice.
